We've have some nice treats in store for you this spring. Lena Nymark is first out and will be followed by Man Get out, Franklin Kiermyer Quartet and Orango. So should be something for everyone there.

The trio In the Country have visited Giske and recorded an album with singer Frida Ånnevik. In the Country consists of Morten Qvenild on piano/keys/effects, Roger Arntzen on acoustic bass and Pål Hausken on drums and percussion(btw he has the coolest drum kit we've ever seen). It's turned out to be a great collection of songs with beautiful soundscapes and Norwegian lyrics!

The new year is starting out great! Mopti just wrapped up recording their new album. The band won the title "young jazz musicians of the year" in Norway 2012.

Shaun Bartlett and his band have been recording and mixing three songs at Ocean Sound Recordings.

We had the pleasure of housing Grandma's Tea Party from Bergen! A group of talented and creative individuals. They write great songs! The drummer, Eirik, even celebrated his 17th birthday during their stay!

Travis have been at Ocean Sound for the past three weeks.
